Just hot off the press is a report from NAR (National Association of Realtors)Blowing Rock has continued to see sales in their area while Beech Mountain, Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain have seen a slowdown. Right now there are more homes for sale on Beech Mountain than ever before. With new townhome and /villas being built and some already completed ,we now have a flood of offereings for buyers. Unfortunately the prices are still not attractive enough to get them to contract.
We are seeing many developers pulling out or holding off on their projects until the market rebounds. For the buyers willing to get in the amrket there are some very good buys.
